SurfStitch Hiring for Assistant Women’s Designer / Product Developer Job at Gold Coast, Australia Full Time

Our Buying & Design team are seeking a Assistant Women’s Designer / Product Developer to assist in developing styles and specifications for the SurfStitch brand. This role reports into and supports our Womens Designer to interpret concepts into viable commercial product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and create products and specification packs for development and production
• Produce product drawings and storyboards using Illustrator software
• Liaise with buying team to interpret concepts into commercial product
• Manage offshore suppliers to set up styles and specifications
• Create and manage Vertical Line lists
• Coordinate suppliers to deliver approved pre-production samples
• Adhere to global development timeline
• Work closely with production to ensure quality goods delivered

We are looking for someone with:

• Experience in using Illustrator (required)
• Garment construction and fitting experience
• Experience developing with offshore suppliers
• Experience in a production inventory system
• Experience in similar role within fast fashion vertical retail
