Reporting into the Operations Supervisor you will come onboard and join an experienced team of service technicians as our new Survival Suit Technician at our site in Mount Pearl.

You as our new Survival Suit Technician will be involved in conducting hands on service work and related tasks to these operations, such as service record keeping and logistical support. You will be performing these tasks which focus on delivering Helicopter Passenger Transport Suit Systems to our offshore Customers within the Oil and Gas industry. This opportunity will require you to qualify and conduct a minimum on the training of 300 hours, you will also undergo additional training to be certified to perform maintenance of our products for our customers.

What You Can Expect from the Role
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:

• You will service and repair work on HPTSS components in full compliance with the various OEM service manuals and procedures
• Conducting service work which includes (but is not limited to) operating laundry equipment to clean suit components, pressure testing suit components to detect potential failures, tear-down and rebuild of HUEBA
• You will keep the service shop and Company owned or leased tools, equipment, and delivery vehicle(s) in clean and organised
• Ensuring all services performed are appropriately logged on the applicable electronic and paper means of record keeping
• Pick-up and delivery run between service facility and customer designated sites
• Informing the Service Supervisor immediately if you become aware of any breakdown in service quality or any health and safety related issue

The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have
Essential

• Educated to High School level, with 4 GCSEs or equivalent
• No prior experience is required for this role, although 1 – 3 years of experienced in a related industry could enable faster learning
• Strong desire to build a career within this industry
