We are currently looking to recruit a passionate and enthusiastic Chef Manager to oversee the day to day running of this multi-site operation based in SE19 London.
Working within a private school setting, the catering department provides the food for approx. 220 pupils as well as staff across two sites.
As the Chef Manager, you will be fully responsible for all aspects of the catering including management of the team, paper work, client liaison and all food. The food for both schools is produced from one kitchen so organization is key and you will need to be creative and innovative when menu planning with this in mind. As essentially you are managing 2 schools, you will have two clients so the ability to build and maintain a good working relationship with both clients is essential.
To be considered a candidate, you will

– ideally have worked within education catering
– be creative and innovative with food and menus
– be able to lead, manage and develop a team
– be able to work as a team player as well as use your initiative

– be organised as well as have the ability to think on your feet
– be able to collate feedback and action as required
