Position Customer Service & Billing Specialist
Key objectives
of the role

You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service
support to current and future Sust Trust Power customers.

Job

37.5 hours per week
Monday – Friday: 8.30 am – 4.30 pm
Starting salary: $55,000 – $65,000

Key
relationships

Reports to: Office Manager/Finance Manager
Close working with: Customer Services team, Fair Energy Manager
External: General public and customers

• Support increased uptake of products and services

Specific tasks

and duties

• Responding to customer queries via phone and email
• Data entry and accurate records of customers and meters

• Assisting customers with debt management
• Customer service complaint management
• Field work co-ordination and management
• Energy billing support to our customers, dealing with escalations

Specific
authorities

• Customer, supplier, and staff liaison

• Data entry and reporting/analysis
• Reporting any issues requiring follow up to the Office/Finance

Manager

Person
specification

• Ideally you have 1-2 years or more experience working for a power

retailer or in the utility sector. Alternatively, experience in an

environment where you’ve been working with clients in a fast-

paced service sector

• Billing support experience and a working knowledge of accounts

receivable processes desirable

• Excellent verbal and written communicator
• Good attention to detail for accurate record keeping and data

entry

• Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to handle

complaints

• Enthusiastic about creating warm, dry, healthy homes
• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• A proven ability to deliver high quality work and service in a fast-

paced environment

• You will be a fast learner with a positive attitude

• You will have excellent numerical and data skills

• Confident with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and databases.

Salesforce and Office 365 experience would be an advantage

• New Zealand residency or valid work visa
