At Sustainable Furniture, Inc., we set ourselves apart with a mission statement aimed at reducing an unnecessary waste stream and breathing new life into furniture beyond its years. We design, create and manufacture cool, new furniture all while protecting the environment by manufacturing our products with environmentally-friendly materials. We are currently looking to add full-time, hands-on Production / Shipping & Receiving associates to our Team!

Production / Shipping & Receiving duties include:

• Starting assembly and production machinery at beginning of shift
• Monitoring equipment to ensure that products are being assembled properly
• Maintaining / cleaning equipment and work area
• Addressing problems with production equipment and repairing as needed
• Assembly of furniture by hand
• Usage of hand and power tools
• Inspection of assembled products to ensure they are up to quality standards
• Affixing labels, company logos, and other exterior details to products
• Packing completed products and preparing for shipment
• Unloading, loading, stocking, and organizing shipments
• Tracking, tracing, and gaining constant updates on incoming and outgoing shipments through collaboration and effective communication. Including the maintaining of accurate log sheets
• Ensuring all production deadlines are met
• Reporting issues or problems with production to immediate supervisor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 – $25.00 per hour
