Position Overview:
The Food Service Worker, under the supervision of the Food Service of the Food Service Supervisor performs a variety of duties in the preparation, service and delivery of patient and non-patient meals. This includes responsibility for cleaning tasks to assure a sanitary and safe environment. This position will be required to perform other related work as assigned by the Food Service Supervisor.

Serving the greater Stanislaus County with 423 plus acute care beds, Memorial Medical Center provides a full continuum of care including 24-hour emergency care, inpatient and outpatient surgery, obstetrics, pediatrics, nuclear medicine, dialysis therapy, diagnostic imaging, intensive care, physical therapy, and home health. Specialized care includes Memorial Regional Cancer Center and Memorial Heart Institute.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate to the degree required to perform the job.

One year working experience in a fast paced working environment.

Prior job experience as a Food Service Worker, preferably at a health related or public facility is highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent

Current Serv Safe certification.
