Swinburne University of Technology Hiring for Content Developer Job at Melbourne, Australia Full Time

Swinburne is embarking on an exciting journey, working towards our new vision of bringing people and technology together to build a better world. We are looking for a dynamic Content Developer to join us and to develop, implement, and maintain content across numerous formats and channels throughout 2022 with funding from the Victorian Government’s International Education Resilience Fund.

Reporting to the (Senior) Marketing Manager International and Strategic Projects, in this highly collaborative role you will work closely with in-house Marketing strategy, creative and production teams, as well as International Recruitment and International Education Resilience Program colleagues. You will ensure all international student engagement and retention content creation supports key brand, campaign, engagement and retention activities. This multi-faceted role will be responsible for idea generation, as well as the planning, creation, production and rollout of content and assets that tell stories, engage international students and influencers (primarily education agents and partners), and align to the Swinburne brand.

You will lead the content ideation, generation and implementation for ‘Re-open’ days – a re-engagement and retention strategy for 20-25 identified key international education agents.

About you

To be suitable for the role you will have:

• A degree in marketing, communications or related fields with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
• Demonstrated experience working in a copywriting, communications or content development role for a large and complex organisation.
• Demonstrated experience writing, editing, creating, and producing on-brand and differentiating content for a range of audiences and channels.
• Demonstrated experience implementing content and marketing activities across numerous formats to achieve successful outcomes.
