We’re looking for Senior Software Engineers who are open to relocating to either Brisbane or Sydney to join our growing teams, with Swyftx covering all of your relocation costs.

What you’ll do

• Write clean, scalable, testable and maintainable code (NodeJs/React both using TypeScript)
• Transform business requirements into product features that involves development in both back and front-end layers
• Work collaboratively with the Tech Lead as an advisor on technological approaches and innovative solutions
• Act as a Senior Level member of the development team, bringing ideas to the table and mentoring intermediate and junior engineers
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices

About you

• Relevant software engineering experience working with maintainable languages (Java, C# etc.)
• Familiarity with professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing and operations
• Ability to audit and provide constructive feedback on technical designs, code, project plans, and project execution
• Demonstrated ability to mentor other software developers to maintain architectural vision and software quality
• You enjoy working independently or part of a team, solving complex programmatic challenges and writing functional, error resistant code
• A customer-focused mindset in all aspects of your work
