We’re looking for Software Engineers who are open to relocating to either Brisbane or Sydney to join our growing teams, with Swyftx covering all of your relocation costs.

What you’ll do

• Write code (Node, Typescript) responsible for millions of dollars in transactions, innovating on new features, optimising systems, collaborating with the team and performing peer reviews.
• Transform business requirements into product features that involve developing in both back and front-end layers.
• Provide complementary skills/expertise to the team and continuously learning from peers.
• Continually performing code reviews and knowledge transfers to other developers.
• Work to integrate third party applications into internal platforms.

About you

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Proven work experience with NodeJS, Typescript and an understanding of Async programming.
• Experience with Angular & ideally React is preferred.
• A background in relational databases (MYSQL, InfluxDB).
• Exposure to the AWS environment or other cloud providers is an asset.
• Possesses initiative and has an adaptive and proactive nature.
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage your own workflow.
• Analytical abilities for solution design, software build and problem resolution.
• A customer-focused mindset in all aspects of your work.
