OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, the candidate’s main mission is to maintain and develop lasting and profitable business relationships with current and potential customers. To do so, the Sales Representative must offer smart, efficient and innovative business opportunities to the customers. In short, the candidate is responsible for helping agricultural producers to increase their efficiency in their territory by offering our line of products and services.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establishing a climate of trust for doing business with target customers;
• Knowing and recommending the categories of agricultural products and services;
• Developing business plans with customers;
• Pursuing and obtaining new customer business;
• Ensuring the maintenance of product integrity by advising customers on how to produce, isolate, handle and store stocks;
• Attending all technical meetings and training sessions;
• Making credit requests and line-of-credit review requests for new customers and submit them (annually);
• Collaborating in the collection of customer accounts;
• Communicating relevant information and sharing expertise with colleagues;
• Popularizing technical information with customers;
• Performing any other tasks required.

HARD SKILLS

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy or college diploma in Agricultural Technology

Experience: Significant experience in representation and sales

Bilingualism: French and English, both written and spoken

Other Qualifications:

• Member of the OAQ or OTPQ (Québec only)
• Member of the CCA (Ontario only)
