Synchronoss is seeking an early career Software Engineer whom will be part of the Architecture team helping to develop custom tools to fulfill customer and internal business needs
How you will help::
- Full-stack web development with a focus on performance and uplift of existing platforms.
- Partner with the Development and Services teams to make code run more efficiently in customer production environments
- Identifying issues and improving the deployment of software changes through all environments of the software development lifecycle.
- Influence your peers as well as senior leadership to adopt new ideas and/or approaches.
- Work side by side with developers, system administrators and users to create state of the art solutions.
Who we have in mind::
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent and relevant industry experience.
- Commercial experience within a GIS domain would be highly regarded
- Full Software Development Life Cycle experience.
- Experience in modern web development frameworks (JavaScript/Angular)
- Experience in mapping frameworks as Open layers
- Familiar with testing frameworks and Test runner framework (E.g. Jasmine/Karma)
- Experience supporting and modernizing legacy systems.
- Ability to collaborate with development staff on improving deployment processes.
- Strong troubleshooting skills, especially in large, complex application environments.
- Ability to form and leverage effective relationships with different teams spread across multiple geographically disparate sites.
- Strong oral, written and presentation skills. Ability to influence others in a positive way.
- Passion for learning new technologies. Stays abreast of the latest industry trends.
It would be great if you had::
- Experience implementing Continuous Delivery, especially on the data tier.
- Experience with Continuous Integration tools, processes and methodologies.
- Experience with TFS, Git or other source code control technologies.
- Experience working with both Windows and Linux.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Have experience with one or more database technologies (e.g. NoSQL technologies)
