Synlait Hiring for WAREHOUSE OPERATOR Job at Dunsandel Full Time

We are looking for Warehouse Operators to join our team in permanent roles, based in Dunsandel. We are looking to fill rotating shifts with 2 days, 2 nights on, 4 days off, working 12 hour shifts and we also have day shifts available.

You will ensure the efficient movement of raw and finished product within and outside the warehouse environment. You will also ensure adherence to Synlait’s requirements for accurate documentation, labelling, palletisation and presentation of product. Additional responsibilities include oversight of the movement and storage of product, unloading and loading of trucks, and ensuring the warehouse and equipment are cleaned to standard on a daily basis.

To be successful in this role you will be someone who enjoys problem solving, has well-developed communication and interpersonal skills and strong organisational and planning skills. NCEA Level 1 or equivalent qualification is desirable, as is holding a Forklift licence (OSH and F Endorsement).

Previous experience within the dairy industry is highly desirable but not essential. Understanding of and experience with standard warehousing practices, as well as slip-sheet experience is advantageous. Computer/Scanner aptitude would be helpful, and proficiency with ERP systems is a definite plus.

This is an energetic role, with heavy lifting involved and would suit a strong, self motivated and forward thinking person, with a dedicated work ethic, who can think on their feet and communicate operational needs, problems, ideas and solutions quickly and effectively.

Skills and experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse operations environment.
• Working knowledge of HACCP systems and process
• Previous insight actively using M3 and/or SAP systems at work.
• The ability to undertake heavy lifting on a regular basis
• A fork hoist licence and previous experience with RF Scanners are well received
