Job DescriptionThis Marketing Media Manager will be a key member of the 3-person Media Operations team and will assist with the day-to-day operations efforts within the Media team, ultimately touching all lines of business within the organization (Brand/Network, Postpaid, Metro by T-Mobile, T-Mobile for Business, Home Internet, and Money). Outputs produced by this team are highly visible with senior leadership and relied on for helping steer the media team and the $1+B media budget. This position works closely with the broader media team, in-house activation media teams, our agency, finance and other groups as needed.ResponsibilitiesTrack, aggregate and communicate partner level investment details of the $1+B media budget across all lines of business and media buying teams (internal and agency)Project manage and participate in the development/sharing of competitive reporting trends in partnership with agencyCollaborate with operations team and broader media team in the weekly development of flowchart and budget documentsManage media teams’ industry membership vendor relationships and help evangelize their opportunities/offerings within the media teamOwn media buy authorization approval process with agencyPartner with legal and procurement on media vendor contract approvalsProject manage agency and internal media teams on operations associated deliverablesMaintain media team org charts and associated documentsResponsible for other duties/projects as neededQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business/Marketing/CommunicationsMarketing StrategiesBrand ManagementEvent ManagementManagementProduction4-7 Years: Media management experience within consumer products or retail industry (experience in media planning at an advertising agency highly recommended)Experience working on a direct response/performance based client (preferred)Experience with competitive measurement tools (i.e. Kantar)Experience with budget management/trackingStrong financial, analytical, and organizational skillsHigh attention to detail, accuracy is essential for being successful in the roleComfortable with Excel, including building/manipulating pivot tablesAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and change tasks quicklyTeam player ready to collaborate or work independently as neededStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience managing Agencies/Vendors (preferred)Minimum QualificationsAt least 18 years of ageLegally authorized to work in the United StatesHigh School Diploma or GEDT-Mobile requires all employees in this position to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work.
