Position Summary: The ideal candidate has experience in freight forwarding and prepares and dispatches commercial documentation governing various dry bulk & liquid commodities loaded onto vessels. Maintain the accuracy of relevant vessel information; through daily data entry in various forms and programs for client and company uses.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
· Daily updating and distribution Vessel Position Reports
· Daily updating of assigned vessels using internal Forwarding Megatron system
· Monitoring assigned vessel movements and keeping track of information needed
· Cognizant of deadlines and work accordingly to meet same
· Persistent correspondence with various parties in order to obtain required shipment details and information
· Notarization of Certificates of Origin and other documents
· Accurately adhering to all instructions and indications as given by Shipper for each vessel
· Coordinating the timely dispatch of final documentation as directed by client base
· Filing AES reports
· Filing Import AMS
· Sending Import Arrival notices
· Other duties as assigned
Education, Knowledge, Experience, Skills and Abilities Required:
· Prior administrative experience required.
· Experience in bulk cargo (coal, grain, wood pellets, etc.) and/or liquids experience highly preferred. Experience with Automated Manifesting System (AMS) a huge plus.
· Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products.
· Proactive and resourceful professional who enjoys a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
· Strong detail orientation with an ability to communicate effectively across the organization.
