Role Summary
The Global Marketing Sr. Business Analyst provides analytical support across the Global Marketing Lead Team and General Management Team. This includes providing relevant and current information that increases transparency into and knowledge of business costs/drivers, both within the Global Marketing BU and within Marketing across Global Distribution (“Total Cost of Marketing”), as well as how business efforts are performing and aligning with current strategies. The Sr. Business Analyst may act as delegate approver establishing a safety net by adhering to division and firmwide policies and procedures, and may lead tactical aspects of implementation/communication around new processes for division by working with firmwide business partners. Work is frequently fast-paced and complex and may require the critical thinking/actions of an “air traffic controller.”
Responsibilities:
Evaluates business needs, cost drivers, and data in order to create standard and timely operational and financial models for business unit leadership, which supports annual planning process, Total Cost of Marketing analysis, BU prioritization, programs/projects, and other business activities.
Support for planning activities includes recruitment/workforce plans, budget and technology prioritization for enhancements, and other technical needs to support Global Marketing.
Identifies opportunities to improve existing processes, data flows, or allocations based upon changing business needs by proactively consulting with business lead partners.
Provides in-depth data analyses in order to respond to or make recommendations that enhance reporting or information flow supporting changing business and information needs of senior management.
Provides support and develops solutions to address complex ad hoc business requests. Tracks issue resolution to inform policies and procedures or to increase the rate and efficiency with which issues are resolved.
Evaluates the need for additional resources to support Global Marketing objectives and requests buildouts to support long-term projects.
Manage and/or support Procurement engagement and processes.
Support team engagement initiatives including communications planning and execution, and space planning.
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
5+ years of total relevant work experience
FINRA RequirementsFINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work FlexibilityThis role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.
