TabCorp Holdings Hiring for Lead Software Engineer Job at Sydney, Australia Full Time

What you’ll do

You will work with Software engineers, Quantitative Analysts, and data scientists to drive the delivery of mathematical predictive sports models for Core Platforms for the Wagering business. You are a software engineering expert delivering technical capability and plan, design, coordinate and execute high quality technology solutions.

Reporting to the Product Owner – Sports and Racing, you are accountable for leading and developing statistical sporting models that aim to predict the outcomes in matches for all the big major sports (Basketball, Rugby League/Union, Tennis, American Football etc).

What you’ll bring

• Data science background or experience in application development on large and complex data centric systems, ideally in finance or wagering sector.
• Software engineering experience working in Java tech stack, delivering on a complex platform including continuous integration/ continuous deployment within an agile environment.
• Expert knowledge of common API, web and application architectures and development methodologies
• Extensive experience working on highly transactional platform and high performing RESTful APIs .
• Good knowledge of supporting technologies, languages & frameworks – ideally Python, R, SQL, Javascript, ReactJS.
• Prior experience mentoring and leading software engineers
