What you’ll do

• Drive the complex delivery of API solutions for digital platforms for Customer Account, Pre bet experience, Live bet for the Wagering business.
• Act as the senior software engineering expert delivering API technical capability and will and plan, design, coordinate and execute high quality technology solutions.
• Assume accountability for engineering and supporting API solutions for digital customer platforms for Wagering and Media to ensure that the vision of the business, and future product development, achieves their desired targets.
• Ensure technology is of exceptional quality on a global scale, delivering the highest possible value to the business.

What you’ll bring

• Extensive experience in application development and support environment on large and complex systems.
• Secure knowledge of application development techniques and structured application design as well as knowledge of common API, web and application architectures and development methodologies.
• Extensive experience working on highly transactional platform and high performing RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of supporting web technologies, languages & frameworks – ideally NodeJS, Javascript, ReactJS, C++, SQL and Splunk.
• Good experience with Cloud Computing, devops. (AWS knowledge)
• Knowledge & solid understanding of the end to end SDLC specifically CI/CD and cloud base instrumentation (e.g. AWS, CodePipeline, BuildKite, GoCD)
• Strong people skills, an unshakeable passion for new technology and a focus on creating great customer experiences.
