What you’ll do

• Drive the complex delivery of Web technologies and API solutions for Digital Venues, Pre bet experience, Betting and information display for the Wagering business.
• Act as the senior software engineering expert delivering digital API and Web technical capability and will plan, design, coordinate and execute high quality technology solutions.
• Be accountable for engineering and supporting digital solutions for venues platforms for Wagering and Media to ensure that the vision of the business, and future product development, achieves their desired targets, ensuring technology is of exceptional quality on a global scale, delivering the highest possible value to the business.

What you’ll bring

• Experience in application development and support environment on large and complex systems.
• Digital experience delivering on a complex platform including continuous integration/ continuous deployment within an agile environment.
• Secure knowledge of application development techniques and structured application design.
• Good knowledge of common API, web and application architectures and development methodologies.

Technology Stack

• Extensive experience working on highly transactional platform and high performing RESTful APIs.
• Good knowledge of supporting web technologies, languages & frameworks – ideally NodeJS, Javascript, ReactJS, Angular, C++, SQL.
• Good experience with Cloud Computing, devops. (good to have AWS knowledge)
• Knowledge & solid understanding of the end to end SDLC specifically CI/CD and cloud base instrumentation (e.g. AWS, CodePipeline, BuildKite, GoCD).
