Job Summary:

The Skip Trace / Investigations Clerk will search for, enter data, and perform other duties related to skip tracing and investigations into the current whereabouts of defendants in ongoing legal cases.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Searches for, verifies, and enters data information from various legal databases, skip trace resources, and the AZ MVD.
• Uses data entry software to record assigned data.
• Compares multiple sources of address information to make logical judgment calls as to where service of process should be attempted.
• Resolves minor processing problems; seeks assistance from supervisor or other appropriate staff for issues beyond immediate expertise.
• Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other related software.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience with data entry or investigation related profession.

Requirements:

• Ability to type 40+ wpm
• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Pass Background Check (No Felonies due to the nature of the industry)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
