Location: Onsite at 1 National Life Dr, Montpelier, VT 05602
Hours: Monday/Wednesday 7:30AM-4:30PM, Tuesday/Thursday 8:30AM-4:00PM, Friday 8:00AM-11:00AM
Pay Rate: $23.17/hour paid every Friday
Contract Length: 12/29/2022 to 04/30/2023 (W2 to start, contract to hire position. Contract extension and permanent placement based on attendance and performance. With W2 employment, you can opt into our medical, dental, and vision insurance.)

Duties:

• Delivers straightforward administrative and/or other basic business services in Clinical Operations.
• Responsible for greeting patients, verifying insurance coverage and eligibility, reviewing new patient registration, and entering new patient information into the computer system.
• Issues tend to be routine in nature.
• Good knowledge and understanding of Medical Receptionist duties and business/operating processes and procedures.
• Works to clearly defined procedures under close supervision.
• This person will answer the phone, schedule appointments, follow up on referrals and administrative work.

Skills:

• Medical Office experience required
• Electronic Medical Records experience
• Medical terminology familiarity

Education:

• High School Degree
• Ability to pass 7-year county background check and urine drug screen
