We’re searching for a dedicated Rural Coordinator to join our whaanau in Hamilton. You’ll play an integral part of the business and become the ‘go-to’ person for providing exceptional administrative and business support in all matters relating to our Natural Resources team.

The role

About

This role is all about manaakitanga and looking after our team! You’ll become the person the team can trust to get stuff done! Reporting to the Head of Farming & Forestry, you will:

• Provide excellent financial administrative support across the wider farming team
• Manage farm data management systems that support business and environmental plans
• Contribute to the successful delivery of the Rural Cadetship programme
• Play a lead role in promoting and cultivating a health and safety culture within the team
• Foster and maintain effective relationships, including with mana whenua and iwi groups

What you’ll bring

To Be Successful In The Role, You’ll Have

• Proven experience in a finance admin function
• The ability to learn quickly, be adaptable, with high attention to detail
• Ability to plan, prioritise, multi-task and make sound decisions
• Excellent communication skills, along with fantastic listening skills.
• Exceptional relationship skills, including the ability to comfortably engage with iwi
• Strong time management skills and work to tight deadlines
• Take ownership to keep things running smoothly
• An energetic, enthusiastic and positive outlook
