We are always on the look-out for talented individuals to join our Technology teams to help us deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Our Infrastructure and Operations team oversee the business and general user computing services, as well as ensuring our underlying infrastructure and cloud services which support TAL’s operations.

Our Technology Delivery and Continuous Delivery teams use agile development practices to provide engaging technology solutions that enable our digital customer journeys – from taking out cover, ongoing servicing through to the management of claims.

Finally, the TAL Information Security and Cyber Team is responsible for analysing the cyber threat landscape, overseeing enterprise-wide controls and for raising TAL’s cyber threat awareness and protection levels.

To help us deliver on our evolving technology roadmaps, we are looking for a talented .Net Engineers to join our Technology Delivery teams.

This role can be Sydney or Melbourne CBD based, the person filling this position is expected to work smoothly with peers across solutions delivery. You will be required to translate business requirements into high quality, technical solutions whilst contributing to the culture of continuous innovation within the team.
You will manage escalated impediments, manage risk, help ensure value delivery and help drive relentless improvement. You will have an Agile mindset and keen interest in software engineering across a range of technologies. You are expected to work with your business stakeholders to manage deadlines, articulate technical problems and ideas, and help to build better processes and practices.

( Blended way of working 2 days a week in the office on average)

Full Microsoft stack developer , e.g.: C#, .NET, MVC, Web API, EF, MS SQL, ideally .NET Core

.NET Framework development experience with C#

Strong experience with Azure and Microservices

SQL development experience

Angular and WebApi development desirable

Desktop App development experience

Experience and exposure to VB.NET, JavaScript, HTML, CSS

A strong grounding with Source Control (Git), TDD, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.

Excellent organisation , time management skills and communication skills
