We are looking for an Engineer to support our client Global Market Equity Derivatives Team in the development and support of the Front Office applications. Our client’s team is responsible for providing a reliable and powerful trading environment (trading applications, framework, analysis, backtesting, reporting features)
Role and responsabilities:
The main responsibility is to keep improving the Neat Dashboard. This big data application is used to automatically detect market opportunities, take automatic decisions and actions to optimize the trading positions. As a lead programmer you will:
- Make high-level design choices
- Dictate technical standards including software coding standards, tools, and platforms
- Understand the interactions and dependencies among components
- Recognize potential reuses in the organization or the applications
As a developer, you should also implement the modifications required and make sure the applications benefit from the most innovative technologies.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- BA or equivalent in IT and Finance
- Minimum of 3 years experience in Python coding
- Skills in Angular
- Experience in the Banking Industry, especially on the trading floor ( experience in interact with the traders)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Java coding experience
- JavaScript and Web design
- Good knowledge of pricing derivatives products and Exotic products
- Good knowledge of current most advanced web technologies
