With offices and workshops in Pukekohe and Mt Wellington, Zoom’s knowledgeable and professional team provide onsite and remote support with a strong focus on ensuring positive customer outcomes.
Zoom Technologies is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to join their conscientious team servicing both business & residential clients. The role will provide onsite, remote, and phone-based support, as well as workshop repairs, and can be based in either Pukekohe or Mt Wellington.

What will you do?
- Onsite support – troubleshooting & demonstration
- Remote support – via online or telephone
- Workshop repairs – in both hardware & software
- Installation of new equipment & software
- Preparation of estimates for hardware, software & labour
- Cloud services setup & maintenance (i.e. Office 365/Backup/DNS/Azure)
- Supporting Windows Server and Remote Desktop Services Hosts
- VOIP phone system configuration & support
- Time recording & billing
What do you need?
- Minimum 3 years of commercial IT experience
- Experience working with an IT service provider across a range of industries and products
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft and 3rd party applications
- Demonstrated PC hardware repair experience
- Server/VOIP configuration and support experience highly desirable
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, delivering a client centred, solutions focused approach
- Confidence to attend networking events to promote Zoom Technologies
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Conscientious and detail oriented
- Team player with a ‘can do’ attitude.
