Who is TALK?

TALK Communications is a strategic design + communications studio with roots on the Kāpiti Coast and a core collective of thinkers and creatives virtually, everywhere. 

We primarily work with not-for-profit, for-impact, and purpose-led organisations and individuals, connecting and engaging with core customer/stakeholder groups to develop effective communication strategies that meet the strategic needs of the organisation or project at hand.

We implement human-centric, design-led creative and content solutions to bring our clients and collaborators closer to the humans they seek to serve. From communication strategy to creative execution, our core collective of humans can navigate the lot. 

2023 is a year of growth for our boutique but punchy collective. And in designing our own strategy for growth, we’ve identified a gap that will help us provide exceptional outcomes for our clients while supporting and enabling our team to do their very best work.

Here’s the support that we need:

• Someone who knows Asana and can keep our project milestones and requirements tidy and up to date
• Support keeping our clients in the know week-on-week
• Support posting, scheduling, and sharing social media content and campaigns*
• Support executing newsletters – template use / testing / quality assurance*
• A little bit of Canva experience might be handy
• Someone who loves whipping up a contact report / actions & next steps following a good old client chinwag
• A little bit of admin support for ad-hoc business projects that crop up from time to time
• Scheduling print suppliers / design support / photoshoots and the likes

*Note that this is not a copywriting role. We require implementation support only.

Initially, this opportunity is part-time, on contract, 10-15 hours per week. 

It might suit someone who is studying and requires some additional income or who has a family to care for but would like to share their other talents with the world for several hours each week.

The nature of the role does require someone who can tap into our channels daily, with a few other solid blocks of dedicated / uninterrupted work here and there throughout the week. 

There is plenty of room for growth as we continue to grow our collective in 2023.
