For the role: 

Being a new team allows everyone to bring their influence and build into a collaborative and respectful teaching culture.

Your core functions for this role are to deliver a well thought out curriculum alongside the team. Contribute to assessment and routines. You will be experienced and confident in your role and have some initiative to problem solve and is keen to get involved across all areas of the daily program to support the team.

Our team leader in this space has a collaborative and open style giving support to each Kaiako’s own thoughts and ideas.  She is easy going and happy for teachers to take autonomy over their role so that everyone can bring their different strengths to the team.

Requirements

– NZ degree or post graduate qualification 

– Teacher Registration

– Exposure to working with children from 18months-3 years of age 

– Excellent written and verbal communication skills

– Knowledge and commitment to the ECE curriculum “Te Whaariki”
