Job Description

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking people to join our Production and Packout Teams at our vegetable plant in Ashburton.

This is a full-time role, working on 12-hour shifts. You will be working on a 12-Day Rotating roster for the majority of the year and on 4 ON 4 OFF roster for Pea Season (Dec- Jan), or as directed.

Your pay rate starts from $24.20/hr.

As a Production & Packout Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Running the machines to process and package produce
• Keeping records associated with the processing
• Understanding the specifications of the produce, ensuring only the correct grade of produce is processed and packaged
• Ensuring your work area is clean and always organised
• Ensuring equipment is always maintained

Training will be provided for the successful candidates.

You are a self-starter looking for a new adventure. You have a positive attitude, enjoy working hard and are honest, reliable, and willing to learn.

For this role, you’ll need:

• Good computer skills
• Be able to work with minimal supervision
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be physically fit
