We are looking for staff for various roles like Machine Operator and Pasteuriser Operator to join the team at our Motueka Ice Cream plant.

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Leading line team to deliver the product on schedule
• High-speed filling
• Documentation
• Maintaining and monitoring production
• Routine plant checks
• Maintaining a hygiene environment

As a Pasteuriser Operator – Afternoon shift, you will be responsible for:

• Operating automated plant control system (SCADA)
• Pasteuriser operation
• Routine plant checks and monitoring
• Ordering ingredients for Production
• Operating cleaning system (CIP)
• Daily washdown cleaning / Housekeeping

Who are you?

You are a self-starter; highly organised and proactive with a can-do attitude and strong attention to detail.

For the roles, you’ll need:

• Ability to complete log sheets to the highest RMP audit standards
• Good communication and writing skills
• Good numeracy skills
• Documentation skill
• Ability to maintain and follow Talley’s Health & Safety and Food Safety policies
• Previous work experience in the dairy industry beneficial
