We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator for a full-time permanent position located in our Osoyoos, BC office.
Job Description:
· The successful candidate will administer payroll and benefits for about 400+ employees.
· Also ensuring payroll is processed in a timely, accurate manner and in accordance with Company and government policies.
· This position requires a highly organized person who can meet deadlines in fast paced, multi-location environment and possesses strong analytical skills.
· Verify and process Semi monthly payroll for 400+ salary and hourly employees in multiple provinces
· Maintain all employee files and maintain log of onsite boxed historical payroll and employee files.
· Act as the Time and Attendance System Coordinator with the Travel Coordinator
· Maintain Payroll database on a timely basis, from employee set up, changes and termination.
· Liaison between Branch locations and Management regarding Payroll Time & Attendance systems
· Assist Field and Office Teams with accessing ADP online
· Investigate and resolve any Payroll or Benefit issue with the Camp Managers.
· Preparation and coordination of T4’s, T2200, ROE’s, yearend adjustments.
· Create and/or run Reports from payroll or time and attendance system as required
· Drafting and coordination of payroll policies, forms, and procedures for locations in multiple provinces;
· Other duties and ad hoc analysis as required
Required knowledge:
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
· Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) designation required; Certified Payroll Manager (CPM) preferred
· Expertise and in-depth knowledge of Canadian ADP systems a must
· Understanding of QuickBooks preferred but not necessary
· Focused, accurate, articulate, and detail orientated
· Must have the ability to multi-task and be a self-starter
