Location: Ireland (Remote)

Main Purpose:

To own and support successful project execution across the IOT organisation; and to plan, organize and control activities so that the projects are completed as successfully as possible in spite of risks and setbacks.

Reporting to: VP PMO

Responsibilities:

· Work with the Engineering teams, to plan and execute projects, ensuring that teams have appropriate product and technical specifications, direction, and resources to deliver projects effectively.

· Be the one voice for the projects under your control with the customer and external clients, managing their expectations effectively

· Work with internal and external teams to establish realistic estimates and timelines, while supporting continuous monitoring and mentoring to help ensure that projects remain on target to meet deadlines

· Ensure that all projects align with the appropriate Taoglas policies and priorities

· Collaborate with Product Owners defining the Product Vision and roadmaps

· Coordinate release and sprint planning with program Manager and Product Owners

· Work with the program team identifying and planning key program milestones

· Monitor project health providing weekly updates on key Program milestones to all stakeholders

· Establish mechanisms for gathering metrics, reviewing, and updating planning and estimation methodologies

· Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and guide team members on optimum project planning and execution

· Proactively identify documents and execute risk reduction activities to minimize Project Risks associated with Cost, Quality, and Timing that could negatively affect Project Plan achievement. .

· Identify and communicate project barriers to gain management action to remove.

· Work with the PMO to implement, establish and drive new program execution methodologies and processes

· Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications/Skills:

· Bachelor degree. Major in Engineering or a related field.

· 8+ years experience 4+ with deep experience in a project management role

· Work experience in the technology development, automation or the consumer electronics space

· Familiarity with Embedded SW and FW development methodologies

· Deep understanding of software and technology. Experience with wireless systems, analytics, AI/ML and/or big data are a plus.

Other Skills & Abilities include:

· Ability to manage programs from concept through to PVT

· Familiarity with Lean and Agile methodologies, tools and processes

· Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project desirable

· Out-Going, personable team player

· Good communication & coordination skills

· Good people management skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: €65,000.00-€80,000.00 per year
