Tauranga City Council Looking for HR Systems Specialist at Tauranga, Bay of Plenty Full Time

The purpose of the HR Systems Specialist role at Tauranga City Council is to support our core HR information systems, and with it ensuring that accurate and quality people information is available to support data driven business decisions at all levels. This includes supporting the development, implementation, maintenance and review of HR technology systems and processes. We are about to kick off the implementation of Employee Central so this is an exciting opportunity for you!

This role includes:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining workforce planning and reporting for the HR team
• Developing and implementing HR systems successfully to deliver organisational outcome
• Ensuring accurate and timely insights are available to stakeholders
• Exploring, identifying, and implementing opportunities to improve TCC HR procedures and processes

To be successful, you will have:

• Relevant University Qualification (Human Resources, Management, Business Information Systems, Statistics etc.)
• Significant experience in Business Information Management including reporting and analysis in an HR environment
• Significant experience in HR systems including in depth practical knowledge of HR related legislation (Holidays Act, Wages Protection Act, Employment Relations Act, Parental Leave and Employment Protection Act)
