In this exciting opportunity, you’ll support all warehouse transactions of a busy business. Working independently or in a team to pick, pack, and ship items, your primary responsibilities include safely relocating or repacking inventory items as directed, up to 50 lbs., operating machinery or other light equipment, and reaching/bending/crouching to pick up identified items. RESPONSIBILITIES

What You Can Expect Day-to-Day

Playing a critical role in keeping our warehouse running efficiently, the following are the core daily activities the Picking & Packing Specialist is accountable for:

• Selecting, packing, and shipping orders – in some cases, for our super-fast (2-hour or less) delivery service
• Receive and put away inventory
• Get customer orders ready and pack them up
• Load boxes into trucks for shipment
• Use scanners to read bar codes on products
• View prompts on screens and follows the direction for some tasks
• Troubleshoot problems
• Ensure product meets quality requirements
• Operate industrial power trucks (PIT) such as a forklift or pallet drivers, and work at heights up to 35 feet
• Ad hoc warehouse requests

This role requires physically demanding manual labor, including but not limited to:

• Standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and reaching for an 8-hr. shift
• Using carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
• Going up and down stairs (where applicable)

REQUIREMENTS

What it Takes

We are looking for a hardworking, efficient Picking & Packing Specialist to play a critical role in keeping our warehouse operating smoothly and our commerce running effectively.

Minimum Required:

• Must be 18+ yrs or older and able to abide by all safety standards
• General knowledge of trading cards (Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, MTG, ETC) and sports cards
• Ability to stand, bend, walk, push/pull, stoop, and lift during working hours
• Lift and move objects weighing up to 50+ lbs.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Flexible and amiable to work demands
• Ability to understand and follow directions and multitask
• Comfortable working in an environment where there are forklifts, machinery, large trucks, and other standard warehouse equipment

Preferred:

• Previous warehouse experience
