T&D Specialties, Inc. is a small mfg buisness that was established in 1972 as a tool and die shop. Since then, the company has grown to an ISO 9001-certified modern CNC machine shop with approx 25 employees servicing the medical and commercial industries primarily.

We are currently seeking a Bookkeeper/ Administrative Assistant

• Job Title: Bookkeeper/ Administrative Assistant

Summary: Responsible for overseeing all aspects of general bookkeeping, including but not limited to:

• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Journal entries
• Account Reconcilliation
• Invoicing
• Some payroll duties
• Banking
• Coordinates and monitors office operations to ensure company requirements are sufficiently met on a daily basis.
• Monitors office procedures and resolves problems through collaboration with pertinent contacts, and implements changes as needed.
• Performs all aspects of accounts receivable and accounts payables.
• Resolves operational problems related to customer service, accounting procedures and computer systems.
• Coordinates and oversees the completion of special projects as needed.
• Schedules appointments and office meetings as needed.
• Works closely with production manager with shipping of completed products.
• Operates standard office equipment efficiently to include:
• – multi-line telephone system
• – facsimile machine
• – photocopy / scanner machine
• – calculator
• – computer/printer
• Ensures the efficient operation of all office equipment by performing minor service duties and arranges for routine and necessary maintenance as needed.
• Maintains the office supply inventory and orders additional supplies as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) or equivalent; or four to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior administrative and accounting experience required.

Language Ability:

Ability to write reports & business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and the general public.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & Internet browsers.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46,562.00 – $50,491.00 per year
