Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
The Programme Manager, Policy Harmonisation will carry out a vital piece of mahi for the Corporate Services team. This role will see you lead the work to harmonise corporate policies across Te Whatu Ora at a time of transformation and change.
This project will work in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts across Te Whatu Ora to ensure we have full visibility of all policy artefacts before the work to harmonise corporate policies across Te Whatu Ora begins. The Programme Manager will provide programme leadership and direction to all stakeholders and oversee working groups and Project Managers. This role will lead consultation processes and coordinate and connect the people involved.
This is a role where you will design the programme, provide thought leadership and be the force that cuts through complexity to bring us to harmony.
This role is an 18-month fixed term contract.
Mōu | About you
You are an experienced project and programme manager who has demonstrated experience in leading large, complex projects that involve a consultation process. Working in an ambiguous and complex environment where change processes are ongoing, and things are in flux is something that you are able to excel at. Your career has seen you work in large public sector or private organisations, and you are familiar with change processes and methodologies.
Politically savvy and confident, you have instant credibility with senior leaders, Boards and Ministers. You either hold a current Project Management qualification or have extensive experience in Project Management with tangible examples of projects completed.
A collaborative communicator, you are able to cut through complexity and empower people to understand complex ideas and give them clarity.
