Credentialling is a process to ensure that the senior health professionals employed by Te Whatu Ora Southern are competent to carry out their duties within their scope of practice. This is to ensure patient safety and that clinical and organisational risk is managed.

Some key tasks within the role are (but are not limited to)
In your role as Credentialling Coordinator, your primary focus will be to facilitate the credentialling of Te Whatu Ora, Southern Senior Medical Officers and Senior Dental Officers (SMOs) efficiently and effectively.

Utu whānui |Salary range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the PSA South Island Clerical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and the salary will be in accordance with the National Health Administration Workers Pay Scale, Band 6B between Step 1 $71,196 and Step 3 $74,664 p.a pro rata dependant on relevant experience.
