As Health Care Assistant You Will Be Involved In

• Supporting our nurses and other members of the healthcare team
• Patient supervision and/or movement
• Stock reconciliation
• Ward maintenance
• Patient cares, as required

Experience working with people in a caring capacity is also essential, whether than experience is gained from within a professional environment, or from caring for children or family members. Our induction includes a two-day training programme to ensure you are fully equipped to under the role as a valuable part of the team. This role belongs to the DHB/NZNO Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($58,100 p.a. pro-rata) and Step 5 ($68,309 p.a. pro-rata)
