Te Whatu Ora Southern Looking for Physiotherapist at Invercargill, Southland, New Zealand Full Time

Salary Band – $59,035 – $85,992 p.a pro rata + Kiwisaver + on-site parking

• Fixed-term, part-time (0.8 FTE), 32 hours per week until December 2023

This position involves working in an inpatient setting with a range of age groups with a focus on physiotherapy assessment and intervention in Acute Stroke Unit, Oncology and Internal Medicine at Soutland Hospital. This role requires exposure to stroke clinical practise, and the ability to work effectively and autonomously in a fast-paced ward environment. An understanding of optimising patient outcomes and facilitating effective discharge in the acute setting is essential.

Take part in regular in-services, senior staff mentoring, an interprofessional learning programme and support network and peer-review.

Develop as a clinician with training opportunities across the district with senior mentors in either Dunedin or Invercargill.

Utu whānui |Salary range

This role belongs to the PSA/DHBs Allied, Public Health and Technical Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($59,035 p.a) and Step 8 ($85,992 p.a pro rata) of the Degree-Based Allied, Public Health and Technical scale.
