Mō te tūranga | About the role
This permanent part-time position will provide leadership and direction to a multidisciplinary allied health team within the Child Development Service /Rātoka Whakapuāwai Tamaiti based in Southland
Reporting to the Service Manager for Women’s & Children’s Health the role is responsible for operational service delivery. This includes leadership and coordination, operational functions, quality and financial performance, human resource management, quality and risk management. The role also includes clinical pathway development and other service delivery improvements within the service, in consultation with Service Manager and relevant Allied Health Scientific and Technical (AHS&T) Leaders.
Working in partnership with Professional Leaders – AHS&T, clinical and other staff, the CDSUM will contribute to strategic and operational management in a way that is consistent with Te Whatu Ora’s mission, values and the Southern Way.
