Shipping & Inventory Specialist Direct Hire $19-20/hour Monday through Friday 7:30am-4pm Primary Duties: Domestic/International Shipping – Pulling, Packing & Processing Daily Sales Orders UPS, FedEx, DHL & USPS Domestic/International Freight Shipping – Crating, Packing & Scheduling Truck Shipments Transborder, UPS Freight, etc. Schedule large shipments and plan logistics using various freight companys? computer applications Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them Document goods shipped and received by processing regular Sales Orders/Invoices and receiving reports for managers Obtain and process product orders, including receiving deliveries, registering them and distributing packages and letters within the company Maintain the company stockroom through organizing, cleaning and cataloging items on a regular basis Place merchandise in a warehouse or storage facility by packaging, lifting items as necessary, operating forklifts and pallet jacks for large goods Assemble small products for orders if needed Other responsibilities as requested by supervisor Qualifications: Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent organizational and administrative skills Exemplary customer care skills Good analytical and problem-solving skills Strong computer skills Detail-oriented and multitasking skills Ability to lift 50 pounds Ability to work alone without supervision Basic mathematics skills Education and Training Requirements: Candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent At least two years? experience in shipment using UPS, FED EX and DHL applications Knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Office and internet browser use Valid driver?s license and clear driving record
