We have a new opportunity for a Contract Project Coordinator in the Wellington region. This is an exciting role with a major government agency – they are seeking a Project Co-ordinator to support a project delivering a significant ICT contract refresh.

The project is at inception stage and the objective is to instil good practice governance and structure to ensure the best outcomes for the organisation from this very major impactful stream of work.

Important attributes & experience you need:

• Understanding of mature enterprise project methodologies
• Great oral and written communication skills
• Owning the regular reporting needed to support sponsor awareness
• Experience in financial reporting and dealing with purchase orders
• Taking meeting minutes
• Skills across the Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Project
• A proactive approach to your work
• Experience in dealing with ICT contract renewal/procurement processes would be ideal
