TEKsystems Hiring for Desktop Support at Burleson, TX Full Time

Description:

Desktop Support candidates will provide desktop support to medical personnel including doctors, nurses, and administrative staff while the hospital is still being built out.

A typical day includes providing a high level of customer service at all times, mostly around adding user groups, adding printers, resetting passwords, re-imaging laptops, and basic technical support.

Responsibilities:

• Unboxing monitors and printers
• Installing new monitors and PCs
• Setting up workstations
• Breaking down pallets and boxes
• Assisting users on installs
• troubleshooting users issues
• Network Logins
• Mapping Network drives
• Mapping printers
• Hardware swaps and installs
• Setting up workstations
• Testing VoIP phones

Preferred Experience:

• Basic technical support skills, computer imaging, and customer service.
• Prioritizes work appropriately while carrying out assignments with supervision.
• Completes tasks within deadlines with supervision.
• Monitors work progress, informing managers and/or customers of project status, problems or obstacles and workload problems in a timely manner.
• Great attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Understand differences in technical hardware
• Reliable transportation.
