A Fortune 40 client of TEKsystems is seeking a Windows Engineer to assist with software remediation and patch management. They are seeking top talent for this position. Please review the description below and apply if interested.
Remote to start – but may return onsite at a later time. Must be comfortable going onsite.
Skills needed:
Candidates don’t need experience with SCCM/TEM/BigFix
Need to have experience doing software remediation in regards to removing software applications
Candidates need to have experience with patch management duties
Basic understanding on command lines; could have experience with working with batch files or PowerShell
Candidate will need to work with the Lines of Business and other change and release stakeholder teams to ensure all patches have been tested, certified, and approved for implementation. Must be able to adapt to constantly changing priorities, and new vulnerabilities will sometimes be higher priority for implementation. Must work well with risk management teams to evaluate risk versus reward for patch scheduling.
Required Skills:
Working knowledge of Windows workstation operating systems
Advanced OS and application troubleshooting knowledge, including log analysis
Experience with Microsoft SCCM & TEM / BigFix
Experience with desktop administrative troubleshooting tools
Experience with networking and Active Directory in a large corporate environment
