Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Test Analyst to join our dynamic team. The role will focus on supporting key programs and projects across the financial services sector, with a primary focus on testing and quality assurance. This individual will work closely with business users, IT teams, and external stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality testing, defect resolution, and smooth implementation of business changes.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to all stages of the testing process, ensuring that all testing activities are planned, executed, and reported effectively to guarantee successful project outcomes.
• Convert business requirements into actionable and effective test cases, ensuring thorough coverage of all functional and non-functional requirements.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) efforts, manage defect retesting, and ensure high-quality delivery of business-critical systems and applications.
• Work closely with business users, IT teams, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment in testing activities and successful execution of testing deliverables.
• Oversee the management of test environments and data, ensuring full traceability of requirements and data integrity throughout the testing process.
• Monitor defects throughout the testing cycle, drive resolution processes, and escalate risks and issues as necessary to ensure timely delivery.
• Contribute to post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement efforts aimed at optimizing testing processes and enhancing overall project quality.

Requirements

• 10+ Years of Testing Experience: Extensive experience in testing within business or financial services environments, particularly in ensuring the quality of complex business systems.
• Experienced with UAT testing
• Proven ability to effectively collaborate and work with offshore teams, managing and delivering testing projects across multiple locations.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, along with experience in SQL troubleshooting and using test management tools like Octane, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Familiarity with financial services testing, including specialized areas like unit price testing, is highly desirable.
