General Duties And Responsibilities

• Telecommunications industry tasks based around outside plant infrastructure.
• Be punctual and flexible with work locations.
• Prioritise workload to ensure work of the greatest importance is undertaken with urgency and to high standards.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Undertake all duties and responsibilities outlined in your position description and all other duties as required by the business.
• Comply with all employment obligations and promptly undertake all reasonable and lawful instructions and directions given.
• Demonstrate a commitment to Health and Safety at work and when observing others in the workplace
• Contribute to a positive work culture.

The successful candidate will preferably have but not limited to:

• NZ Class 1 full driver licence
• NZ Class 2 licence
• Relevant industry qualifications
• Experience working on major utility networks
• Relevant certificates to work as a Fibre Optic Technician will be an advantage
• Sound computer skills and interpretation of plans
• First Aid certification
• Be medically fit to work at height, confined spaces and physically demanding environments
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing mandatory
