Technology, Innovation and Analytics

This role will join our Technology, Innovation and Analytics division. This is an internal team that partners with Telstra Health business units to provide leading technology and data services that enable Telstra Health to achieve its strategic goals and vision. Our Client Operations and DevOps team perform a key role in ensuring our digital health solutions and products are interoperable, scalable, secure and are managed with best-practice technology principles.

Help us shape a connected future for healthcare by:

• Joining a newly created Development team in our Technology, Innovation and Analytics area that work on key strategic technology initiatives across Telstra Health.
• Participating in the entire software development lifecycle from the concept state through to release
• Development of new functionality as well as refactoring, troubleshooting and addressing defects found
• Working with QA, developers and UX to ensure development quality is maintained at the highest standard.
• Providing technical solutions in terms of code, design and industry best practices to ensure a quality product.
• Designing, developing and maintaining software applications that are useable, robust and scalable

The successful candidate will have:

• 3+ years’ experience in software development, including exposure to all facets of the SDLC
• Relevant tertiary qualifications (technology)
• Clear understanding and experience of working in Agile Software development framework specially particularly TDD / BDD
• Strong experience with development skills in at least one of the following .NET, WPF/XAML, HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript frameworks (React.JS)
• Development testing knowledge – Unit testing, test automation
• In-depth experience in full stack projects including at least one of the following:
• C# .Net development
• SQL Server or similar large-scale relational databases
• Microsoft Entity Framework
• Web API
• Highly regarded: Microsoft certifications in software development or database development.
