We offer our solutions to the pharmacy, public and private hospital, primary care, diagnostic, Indigenous health, and aged, disability and community care sectors in Australia, as well as to Government and other health funders.

Kyra is Telstra Health’s digital hospital platform that supports clinical teams, delivering safe, high quality care and positive patient experiences. We are looking for a Junior Developer to contribute to the development of the Kyra Flow and Kyra IQ platforms.

Help us shape a connected future for healthcare by:

• Participating in the entire software development lifecycle from the concept state through to release
• Working with QA, BA, developers and UX to ensure development quality is maintained at the highest standard
• Providing technical solutions in terms of code, design and industry best practices to ensure a quality product
• Documenting technical designs to enable stakeholders and governance teams to review and endorse solutions being implemented
• Ensuring that developed software meets the business aims of the company and its customers
• Keep abreast of new technology and consider using it where appropriate
• Collaborating with all members of an Agile Development Team
• Producing secure, high performance, maintainable code using industry best practices
• Liaising with the technology manager, other developers and testers in a collaborative team environment
  

Required skills and experience:

• 1-2 years C# .Net software development experience (full stack – .NET Core, ASP.NET, SQL, Web API)
• Clear understanding and experience of working in Agile Software development setting
• Experience in front end javascript based frameworks
• Development testing knowledge – Unit testing using available frameworks
• Proficient in use of source control system
• Any cloud experience desirable – e.g. MS Azure
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet agreed timetables
• Excellent communication, problem solving and analytical skills
• Experience with MS SQL Server desirable
• Experience with modern front end technologies e.g. React, Web Components, Ionic desirable
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices desirable
• Tertiary qualification in IT Information Technology preferred
