Key Responsibilities

• Design, Develop, Deploy, and operate the applications/services and understand their interactions with other Telstra processes and systems to deliver products and services to customer business units
• Achieve a well-defined, functioning and repeatable set of key business, program management and technology processes to ensure consistent quality is maintained
• Have the right self-starter attitude and growth mindset to work as ONE TEAM.
• Good Communicational, Analytical and Problem solving skills
• Managing production support and maintenance for applications in the production and pre-production environments keeping in a Devops model
• Review and integrate all application requirements, including functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operations requirements
• Mentoring junior team members
• Technology Assessments and Estimation of new features
• Provide deep technical input into formal project management processes
• Well versed with Agile scrum process and Agile ways of working in a software delivery team

About you

To be successful in the role, you’ll bring skills and experience in:

Essential

• Specialist in field of Java/Node JS based Enterprise application design and development
• Solving complex problems related to implementations using APIs, SPAs and Cloud platform (AWS/PCF)
• Contribution to developing and maintaining agile continuous integration and delivery process
• Engaging and influencing internal stakeholders such as operations, architects, and various business groups

Highly Desirable

• Strong experience in AWS, APIGEE Micro-services / APIs development and design
• Experience in Bamboo, Git, Stash, Jira, Confluence, Eclipse/IntelliJ, Docker, Kubernetes, ELK stack, Splunk, test automation, feature branching, versioning, security, continuous integration and deployments
• Knowledgeable in Agile Methodologies: Scrum, Agile rituals, Scaled Agile Framework, DevOps
• Knowledgeable in API, cloud computing (preferably AWS certified), caching strategies, load balancer, web acceleration, clustering, Operations Management, Production Support
