Job Description

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and experienced Production people to join our team based at our Mangere manufacturing site. Reporting to the Supervisor, these are hands-on role, and we are a focused team dedicated to growing the business. This is a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday at 6.45am to 3.15pm with some overtime may be available. This role has potential pathway to be upskilled to become a Brazer or Machine Operator.

On a day-to-day basis you will:

• Fabricate copper pipe/tube components into designed shapes
• Weld/braze and test heat exchange coils to engineered design and specifications
• Check componentry for dimensional accuracy, quality and quantity
• Process copper tubing for production and assembly of component.

Qualifications

What you will bring to the role:

• Be mechanical aptitude – experience in welding/brazing of metals is beneficial not a must
• Be physically fit and comfortable with lifting up to 25kgs
• Quality focused with good attention to detail
• Be safety focused
• The ability to interpret engineering drawings
• Excellent work ethics including attendance and punctuality.
