Job Description

As a Pricing Analyst, you will provide actionable insights into pricing and market data to drive sales and profitability. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment with the pricing strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collate and analyze market and pricing data.
• Gain insights into competitor pricing, market trends, and customer demand.
• Monitor competitor promotions.
• Assist with new product pricing.
• Develop tools to evaluate pricing strategy effectiveness.
• Conduct cost analysis and margin assessments.
• Analyze profitability and sales trends.
• Assess sales promotion effectiveness.
• Identify low margin sales.
• Create customer pricing models.
• Work with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product Development teams.
• Support sales with pricing inquiries.
• Maintain and update pricing databases.
• Assist in developing pricing policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor of Science or Commerce
• 3+ years of experience as a pricing analyst, preferably in the manufacturing or HVAC industries
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data analysis tools (SQL, R, Python)
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Keen eye for investigating and interpreting data, discovering trends and insights
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Effective reporting and presentation skills
• Enthusiastic and proactive team player
