This project manager will support the Project Director in effective project management, planning, and communication between the Philadelphia Team, Pact, and Pact project partners in Washington D.C., and Kyiv, Ukraine.
The project manager will maintain and communicate activity timelines and financial plans to the team, be the liaison between the Philadelphia team and Temple University, and ensure deliverable due dates are reached on time and within budget. The Project Manager will execute a variety of project management tasks under the guidance of the Project Director, such as scheduling meetings, generating reports, maintaining project documents, providing oversight for the project’s research assistant, completing orders, and submitting invoices and contracts as needed throughout LOP. Also, the position will help foster team collaboration throughout the complex activities planned during LOP. The incumbent will assist the Project Director in planning, executing, and assessing all activities associated with the LOP Objectives for which the Philadelphia Team is responsible; please see details listed below.
Essential functions: Assist with establishment of formal affiliations between Drexel, Temple, and academic institutions; Liaise with PACT headquarters in Washington, DC and the Kyiv office to coordinate all grant-funded activities; Facilitate curriculum development and exchange; Oversee the review process of existing MPH and BPH academic programs, cross-walked against European and US curriculum requirements; Assist with establishing faculty development strategies related to faculty training curricula reform; Assist with developing courses of study for majors in the affiliated MPH programs; Oversight of the PHS R&R Philadelphia Team initiatives and objectives to increase regional capacity to perform essential public health operations; Assist the Project Director, co-investigators, and the Health Federation of Philadelphia (HFP) team with study tour for Ukrainian mental health service practitioners; Assist the Project Director with overall initiatives to strengthen the mental health workforce; Supervise student worker(s); Manage contracts with hotels, transit and interpreter services; Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience:
BS degree in Environmental Health and a minimum of four years of related work experience in the Environmental Health field. A Master’s degree is a plus. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Required Skills & Abilities:
*Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
*Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping abilities.
*Proficiency in data analysis and basic statistical methods.
*Effective communication skills to collaborate within a multidisciplinary and multi-organizational technical assistance team.
*Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently and in a team environment.
*Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.
* Willingness and ability to travel to Ukraine or neighboring countries for up to 2 weeks.
* Knowledge of the history, culture and anguages of Ukraine
Preferred:
*Experience working with Ukrainian public health and health services professionals, particularly in environmental health public health, health services and refugee health
*Experience working with translation and interpretation, particularly in working with professional translators in meetings, training sessions and interpersonal encounters.

This is a grant funded position.
This position is temporarily assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
